We chose this particular car because it has three rows of seats but is not a minivan. It handles excellently and my husband described driving it as 'like driving on glass'. It is a very quiet smooth riding vehicle. It is also extremely spacious. I like that amount of space in the 'trunk' area even when the third row is positioned for seating and there is a wonderful amount of space when the third row has been laid flat.
Story
Our dry cleaner noticed I was driving a new vehicle and the next time he saw my husband, he teased him saying that he was trying to keep his woman happy by buying her a fancy car!
Pros
My favorite feature of this vehicle and the deciding factor in purchasing this car in comparison with some of the other vehicles we looked at, is this vehicle has captain chair seating in the middle row instead of a bench seat. This makes getting to the rear seat extremely easy. I also like the leather heated seats, the rear view camera, the rear a/c and heating controls and the remote start feature.
Cons
Mostly we have had only positive experiences with this vehicle. The remote rear hatch sensors have had some trouble. Sometimes when you push the remote for automatic close for the rear hatch, the door will come down like it is going to close but then opens back up again. We have been told that this is a common problem with this particular vehicle.

Don't let some of the major publications fool you, the Enclave has plenty of power, all the luxury you could want and a price that doesn't make your wallet scream. Some will claim that the Enclave lacks in horsepower. Sure, when you compare to the top tier BMW and Mercedes in the same class, but you're paying much more when the Enclave has all the same comfort with plenty of kick to spare. The leather wrapped captain's chairs cradle your body while the Bose noise cancelling system shuts out the outside world. This is the smoothest and most comfortable ride I've ever experienced, and I'm positive you'll agree.

Cons
Even for an SUV, the turn radius is bad CD player still comes standard? Weird

The 2012 Buick Enclave is the perfect mom car. It is extremely functional and high quality. The Buick has plenty of room—not only additional people but all of the baby stuff that you need to bring with you. The interior has held up extremely well and still feels luxurious. The performance on the road leaves a little to be desired, but all in all, I feel like this is an extremely safe, practical car.
Story
We took the Buick on the beach for a little spin. Nobody would expect to see my "minivan" look-alike out there, but it did great!
Pros
The number one pro of this car is the ceiling A/C vents in the rear. I have a child in a rear facing car seat, and these vents are amazing for her! I will never purchase another car without them! I also love the space. I keep the third row down the majority of the time and have plenty of room in the trunk for a large stroller, a diaper changing station, and my groceries. The Buick is also extremely comfortable for long road trips (I have put about 20,000 miles on it in a little over a year), and I love the size of the car. I am extremely happy with my Buick!
Cons
The biggest con for this vehicle is how much it looks like a minivan! I wish it had a more stylish exterior. Also, it seems to be marketed more towards the elderly. I would like to see more young people driving them. Another con is the low towing capacity. When I get a new car, I will get something a little bigger so I can tow a trailer. The Buick does not have much 'get up and go.' Also, when you back up, it seems to pause slightly in reverse. We asked a dealer about this, and they said that all of them do that..
